DUCHESS DOLLS

Many doll companies made hard plastic dolls during the era of 1948-1960's one of which is the Duchess Doll Corporation.  Dolls are often marked on the back with; Duchess Doll Corp 1948 or 1949.  Dolls are hard plastic, slender adult figured, 7-9" tall, painted or sleep eyes, jointed arms, heads can turn, non-bendable legs, molded painted on low heeled shoes, elaborate costumes are stapled to dolls body. These are also called "Travel Dolls" and “Dolls of All Nations.”
